Paul Mangan, a 59-year-old resident of Newbridge, Co Kildare, was sentenced to four months in jail for issuing a threatening letter to TV psychologist Eddie Murphy, in which he accused Murphy of having an affair with his wife. Mangan pleaded guilty to harassment under the Harassment, Harmful Communications and Related Offences Act 2020.
