Pavlo Ivanchov

Pavlo Ivanchov was a prominent Ukrainian surgeon and academic, known for his expertise in oncological surgery. He served as the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 at the National Medical University of Ukraine named after O. O. Bohomolets. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, he authored nearly 200 scientific papers and held multiple patents in medicine. He was a respected figure in the medical community, recognized as a deserving doctor of Ukraine and a laureate of the National Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology. Tragically, he was reported to have died in a recent attack by Russian drones on February 26, 2023.
