Pavlo Zenkevych

Pavlo Zenkevych was a Polish-born translator who lived in Moscow during the interwar period. His manuscript of the Russian translation of Mikhail Yoghansen's last work, 'Yugurta: A Tale of Old Kharkiv,' was recently discovered, allowing Yaryna Tsymbal and her team to translate the lost novel into Ukrainian. Zenkevych's clear handwriting and meticulous notes played a crucial role in the reconstruction of this significant literary work.
