Pdvsa, or Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A., is the state-owned oil and natural gas company of Venezuela, established in 1976. It is one of the largest oil companies in the world and plays a crucial role in the Venezuelan economy, contributing significantly to the country's revenue through oil exports.
