Pietro Morici
Pietro Morici was an Italian Carabinieri officer who served as the driver for Captain Emanuele Basile. He was murdered on June 11, 1983, alongside Basile's successor, Mario D'Aleo, and fellow officer Giuseppe Bommarito, in a brutal attack by the mafia. His death is emblematic of the violent struggle between organized crime and law enforcement in Sicily during the late 20th century.
