Ramón Zavala, also known affectionately as 'Moncho', was a 40-year-old cattle rancher from Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Honduras. He was tragically killed during a violent home invasion when armed assailants attempted to steal his livestock. In a bid to protect his property, Zavala confronted the intruders, leading to a fatal exchange of gunfire at his residence.
