Richard Simonics

Richard Simonics is a Slovak entrepreneur and the co-founder of Foni Book, a publishing company specializing in children's literature, educational materials, and entertaining books. He started his career in the early 1990s by selling Hungarian books on the streets of southern Slovakia, where he identified a gap in the market. Over the years, he expanded his business to include Slovak books and opened several bookstores. Despite facing challenges from foreign retail chains, Simonics adapted his business model to focus on school and corporate sales, ultimately leading to the establishment of Foni Book in 2011, which has gained recognition for its colorful, illustrated books for children.
