Rigoberto Lanz

Rigoberto Lanz is a Venezuelan sociologist and the principal ideologue behind the Misión Ciencia, an ambitious program launched in 2006 under Hugo Chávez aimed at strengthening scientific research in Venezuela; however, he later acknowledged that the initiative was hindered by bureaucratic inefficiencies.
