
Sergey Dubinsky
Sergey Dubinsky is a former officer of the Russian military intelligence, known for his involvement in the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. He was implicated in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in July 2014, which resulted in the deaths of all 298 passengers and crew members on board. In November 2022, a Dutch court convicted him in absentia and sentenced him to life imprisonment for his role in the incident. Dubinsky, along with two others, was ordered to pay significant damages to the victims' families. His case remains a focal point in discussions about accountability and justice for the tragedy.
