Serhii Hromenko

Serhii Hromenko is a Ukrainian historian and military officer currently serving in the Ukrainian armed forces. He is noted for his insights into the historical narratives used by Russian President Vladimir Putin to justify aggression against Ukraine. Hromenko argues that Putin's historical reinterpretation aims to erase Ukraine's national identity and memory, thereby making it more vulnerable to absorption into Russia.
