Sigfrid Edström

Sigfrid Edström was a Swedish industrialist and sports administrator who served as the president of the IOC from 1946 to 1952. His leadership helped revitalize the Olympic movement after World War II, and he was known for his efforts to promote international cooperation and sportsmanship, as well as his role in establishing the Olympic Truce.
