Silviane Ramos, a descendant of Tereza de Benguela, is a researcher dedicated to uncovering the history and significance of her ancestor and other Black leaders in Brazil. Her work, which spans over three decades, played a vital role in the recent reconstruction of the faces of Tereza, Maria Felipa, and Luiza Mahin, utilizing historical documents and oral accounts.
