Socorro Gil Guzmán

Socorro Gil Guzmán is a passionate activist and representative of the collective Memoria, Verdad y Justicia, who has been vocal about the plight of families affected by enforced disappearances in Guerrero, Mexico. She has been actively advocating for legislative change regarding forced disappearances, particularly in memory of her son, Jhonatan Guadalupe Romero, who was forcibly disappeared by local police in 2018.
