Speer

Albert Speer was a German architect and the Minister of Armaments and War Production for Nazi Germany during World War II. Known for his close association with Adolf Hitler, Speer was responsible for the Nazi war economy and was instrumental in maximizing the efficiency of German industry to support the war effort. After the war, he was tried at the Nuremberg Trials, where he was convicted of war crimes but claimed ignorance regarding the Holocaust, a defense that has been widely debated and analyzed.
