Stavros Karagilanis

Stavros Karagilanis is a pioneering producer and the founder of Peace by Peas, the first company in Greece dedicated to producing tempeh from local legumes on a regular basis. After years of studying macrobiotic nutrition in the Netherlands, he now resides in Evia, where he creates various fermented products such as miso and pickles, while experimenting with traditional Japanese methods using Greek ingredients. His work emphasizes the importance of local, seasonal, and minimally processed foods, and he actively shares his knowledge through seminars and online content, aiming to educate others on the impact of food on health and well-being.
