Stepan Putin

Stepan Putin was a Soviet major and a Hero of the Soviet Union, recognized for his leadership in the 25th Guards Mechanized Brigade during World War II. He died in February 1945 in Lviv, where he was later buried, and his remains were among those exhumed in a recent operation aimed at addressing historical military burials.
