Stephen Ma
Stephen Ma is an Australian software engineer and one of the co-founders of Google Maps, having played a pivotal role in its development since its inception in 2005. Known for his modesty and preference for privacy, Ma began his career in a small country town in New South Wales before moving to Silicon Valley during the dotcom boom. He co-founded Where 2 Technologies, which developed the mapping platform that ultimately became Google Maps, and he continues to work in the tech industry on various startup projects.
