Sundiata Acoli

Sundiata Acoli is a former member of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army, who was convicted in the 1973 killing of New Jersey State Trooper Werner Foerster. He was granted parole in 2022 after spending nearly five decades in prison, with his attorneys advocating for his release based on his exemplary behavior as an inmate.
