Szergej Nagovicin

Szergej Nagovicin was a Russian mountaineer who tragically passed away during an expedition in 2021 while attempting to climb the Khan Tengri peak. He suffered a stroke at an altitude of 6900 meters, and his wife, Natalja Nagovicina, refused to leave him behind despite the dire circumstances. His death and the subsequent search for his body became a significant part of Natalja's own harrowing story as she now faces similar life-threatening challenges on the same mountain.
