
Talgat Tatubaev
Talgat Tatubaev, born on October 9, 1976, in Karaganda, Kazakhstan, is a former head of the National Bureau for Combating Corruption. With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement, he has held various leadership positions within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Financial Police, and the General Prosecutor's Office. Tatubaev led the National Bureau from September 2016 to June 2018 and was later appointed as the head of the Criminal Prosecution Service of the General Prosecutor's Office. He has been honored with the 'Құрмет' and 'Даңқ' II class orders and is part of the Presidential reserve for leadership in law enforcement and special state bodies. He was recently in the news for being detained by the General Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of torture.
