
Trishna Shakya
Trishna Shakya, aged eight, serves as the Kumari, or living goddess, of Nepal, a revered position she has held since the age of three. As a Kumari, she lives in the temple palace and is venerated by both Hindus and Buddhists alike. During the Indra Jatra festival, she made a rare public appearance, blessing thousands of worshippers while being carried in a beautifully adorned chariot through the streets of Kathmandu.
