Turbyorn Yagland

Turbyorn Yagland is a former Prime Minister of Norway who served from 1996 to 1997 and later held the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2000 to 2001. He was also the Secretary General of the Council of Europe from 2009 to 2019 and chaired the Nobel Committee from 2009 to 2015. Recently, he has come under investigation by Norway's economic crime unit, Oekokrim, for alleged corruption related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, as documents released indicate potential conflicts of interest during his tenure in high-profile positions.
