Tyler Jaggers

Petty Officer 2nd Class Tyler Jaggers was an aviation survival technician with the U.S. Coast Guard, stationed at Air Station Astoria, Oregon. He tragically died following a medical evacuation mission off the coast of Cape Flattery, Washington, where he sustained critical injuries. Jaggers was recognized for his exceptional performance and dedication to service, having been meritoriously advanced for his relentless drive in qualifications and mentorship of fellow rescue swimmers. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in aerial flight, reflecting his commitment to the Coast Guard's motto, 'So Others May Live.' His loss is mourned by his family, friends, and Coast Guard colleagues.
