Veronika Cepkalo

Veronika Cepkalo is a Belarusian political activist who became prominent during the 2020 presidential elections, where she, alongside Maria Kolesnikova and Svetlana Tihanovska, led a campaign against President Alexander Lukashenko. Following the arrest of her husband, she took an active role in the opposition movement, advocating for democratic reforms and human rights in Belarus. After facing threats and repression from the regime, she went into exile, continuing to raise awareness about the situation in Belarus and support her fellow activists.
