Viktor Babarika

Viktor Babarika is a Belarusian banker and politician who gained prominence as a leading opposition figure during the 2020 presidential elections. Before entering politics, he served as the chairman of the Belgazprombank, one of Belarus's largest banks. Babarika announced his candidacy against President Alexander Lukashenko but was arrested shortly after, accused of financial crimes in what many observers believe was a politically motivated move to silence dissent.
