
Vianey Mora Vega
Vianey Mora Vega is a Costa Rican political adviser and sociologist who recently gained attention for winning the second position on the Frente Amplio's candidacy list for deputies in San José. At 34 years old, she has a background in sociology from the Universidad Nacional and has worked closely with Rocío Alfaro Molina, the leader of the Frente Amplio faction. Mora made headlines after traveling to Venezuela in July 2024, funded by the Venezuelan National Electoral Council, to observe elections that were widely criticized as fraudulent. Her political career also includes a run for mayor in Desamparados during the 2024 municipal elections.
