He has gained attention following his arrest in connection with the murder of 39-year-old Anastasia Berezovska, who was wanted by Interpol for an assassination attempt on sanctioned Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaev in Monaco. Reut is a graduate of the Law Faculty of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics and is believed to have served in a military unit of the Special Operations Forces since 2022.
