Vyacheslav Shevchuk

Vyacheslav Shevchuk is a commander of the drone battalion within the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He is currently engaged in battles around the city of Pokrovsk, where he has expressed concerns about the Ukrainian army's ability to effectively conduct urban warfare and the risks posed by insufficient troop numbers and vulnerabilities to Russian airstrikes. Shevchuk believes that the fate of Pokrovsk is largely predetermined and advocates for the timely withdrawal of soldiers to preserve lives.
