Wendy Beetlestone
Wendy Beetlestone is a federal judge serving on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Appointed by President Barack Obama in 2014, she has presided over a variety of cases, including those involving civil rights and government accountability. Recently, she gained attention for allowing a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump to move forward, concerning his allegedly defamatory statements regarding five men wrongfully convicted in a 1989 Central Park rape case.
