Wu Chia-min

Wu Chia-min is a sociologist and researcher at the Academia Sinica in Taiwan. He has gained attention for his insights into Taiwan's economic strategies, particularly regarding the ongoing trade tensions with China and the United States. Recently, he proposed a strategy for Taiwan to '脱中入北' (decouple from China and engage with the Global North), which emphasizes increasing investments in the U.S., Japan, and Europe as a response to rising tariffs and geopolitical shifts.
