Youel Zaya

Youel Zaya is a member of the Assyrian Christian community in Australia, who fled Syria with his family after their village was attacked by ISIS. Zaya has spoken out against the return of Australian women associated with ISIS, questioning the influence that children raised in such environments may have and expressing concern for the safety of his community.
