Airyn De Niro is the 29-year-old daughter of Hollywood legend Robert De Niro and model Toukie Smith. Recently, she made headlines by publicly coming out as a transgender woman in an interview with 'Them,' where she discussed her journey of self-discovery, including starting hormone therapy. Inspired by the impact of the 2023 adaptation of 'The Little Mermaid' and the visibility of other Black transgender women, Airyn aims to be a source of inspiration for others facing similar challenges. She emphasizes the importance of authenticity and representation, expressing a desire to be recognized for her own achievements rather than being seen as a 'nepo baby.' In addition to her aspirations in acting and modeling, she is also studying to become a mental health consultant to support others in their journeys.
