Angelo Aguado is a talented chef originally from Peru, known for his culinary journey that spans various countries including Germany, Spain, and Japan. Growing up in a matriarchal family of cooks, he developed a deep passion for cooking, which was further nurtured while working in kitchens across Europe and Asia. In 2020, amid the pandemic, he co-founded 'Contraste' in Lima with his partner and brother, aiming to celebrate Peruvian cuisine through a contemporary lens while respecting local ingredients and traditions. His culinary style reflects a blend of personal history, technical skill, and a commitment to sustainability and hospitality.
