Camila Prado

Camila Prado is a researcher at the Centro de Informação e Assistência Toxicológica (Ciatox) of the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), where she specializes in toxicology and the treatment of poisoning cases, particularly those involving methanol. In recent news, she highlighted the need for effective antitoxins, such as fomepizol, which is currently unavailable in Brazil, and discussed the use of ethanol and vodka as alternatives in methanol poisoning cases.
