Charlotte Burrows

Charlotte Burrows is an accomplished civil rights attorney and former commissioner of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), recognized for her advocacy in advancing workplace equality and protecting the rights of employees from discrimination. She was appointed to the EEOC during the Obama administration and served as chair of the agency's Select Task Force on the Study of Harassment in the Workplace. Burrows was recently dismissed by the Trump administration, which characterized her as a 'far-left appointee' and opposed her focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
