Christoph Aeschlimann

Christoph Aeschlimann is the CEO of Swisscom, Switzerland's leading telecommunications company, a position he has held since June 2022. With a background in IT, network management, and infrastructure, Aeschlimann previously led Swisscom's IT division and has held executive roles in software development. He is an alumnus of ETH Lausanne, where he earned a degree in computer engineering, and he holds an MBA from McGill University. Under his leadership, Swisscom focuses on enhancing national security through robust telecommunications and addressing the rising threat of cyberattacks, which have significantly increased in frequency and sophistication in recent years.
