Ćirilo
Ċirilo, also known as Saint Cyril, was a Byzantine scholar and missionary who, along with his brother Methodius, created the Glagolitic alphabet, the first alphabet used to transcribe Old Church Slavonic, greatly impacting Slavic literacy and culture.
