Dauren Kosanov
Dauren Kosanov is a seasoned military leader and newly appointed Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, having previously served as the Deputy Minister of Defense and Commander of the Air Defense Forces. Born 55 years ago, he has an extensive background in aviation and military strategy, graduating from prestigious military academies, including the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School and the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Throughout his career, Kosanov has held various significant positions, including Commander of the Air Forces and Director of the Military Institute of Air Defense. His appointment comes after the previous Minister, Ruslan Jaksylikov, was relieved of his duties.
