Doğan Güreş

Doğan Güreş is a retired Turkish general who served as the Commander of the Turkish Land Forces and later as the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces. He has been involved in various military operations and has played a significant role in Turkey's counter-terrorism efforts, particularly against the PKK. Following his military career, he transitioned into politics, becoming a member of the Motherland Party (DYP), where he continued to influence discussions on national security and defense.
