Efrain Campo Flores
Efrain Campo Flores is a Venezuelan individual who gained notoriety for being convicted of drug trafficking in the United States. He is the nephew of Cilia Flores, the wife of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. In 2015, Campo Flores and his cousin were arrested in Haiti by the DEA for attempting to smuggle 800 kilograms of cocaine into the U.S. They were sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2017. In October 2022, they were repatriated to Venezuela as part of a prisoner exchange deal involving the release of seven Americans held by the Maduro regime.
