Evgeny Chichvarkin
Evgeny Chichvarkin is a Russian businessman best known as the founder of the popular retail chain 'Evroset', which specialized in mobile phones and accessories. After leaving his position as chairman in 2008, he relocated to the UK amidst legal troubles, including accusations of extortion, which were later dropped. Chichvarkin has also made a name for himself in the wine industry as a co-investor in the luxury wine boutique Hedonism Wines in London. In June 2022, he was designated as a foreign agent by the Russian Ministry of Justice, highlighting his involvement with Ukrainian funding sources. Recently, he has been in the news for being cited under administrative law for participation in a recognized undesirable organization in Russia.
