Farzaneh
Farzaneh is a young woman who tragically became the victim of a violent crime in central Iran. In June 2002, she went missing after traveling to a nearby village for a conversation about agricultural water, leading to a police investigation that uncovered her body days later. Her death was ruled a homicide, and an 18-year-old suspect was arrested, confessing to her murder during a confrontation. The case has seen numerous legal complexities, including false confessions by other individuals and a long period of uncertainty regarding the suspect's guilt. After 22 years of legal battles, it was determined that the suspect lacked sufficient mental maturity at the time of the crime, resulting in his release.
