Hans Modrow

Hans Modrow is a former East German politician who served as the last communist premier of East Germany from November 1989 to April 1990. He played a significant role during the peaceful revolution that led to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of Germany. Modrow attempted to implement reforms and initiate a dialogue between the government and opposition groups during a time of significant political upheaval in the German Democratic Republic.
