Hyun Yong-chol was the Minister of Defense for North Korea and held significant military influence. He was known to have been executed in 2015 for allegedly falling asleep during a military parade attended by Kim Jong-un, demonstrating the extreme measures the regime takes against perceived incompetence or disrespect within its ranks.
