Julija Makejeva

Julija Makejeva is a long-serving employee at the Ballymaloe Cookery School, having started in 2005 as a cleaner and rising to roles as a market cook and teacher. Recently, she made headlines after her claim of discrimination against the school, alleging unfair treatment regarding her timekeeping after returning from maternity leave, was rejected by the Workplace Relations Commission.
