Kyril Rozumovsky
Kyril Rozumovsky was the last Hetman of the Cossack Hetmanate, serving from 1750 to 1764. Appointed by Empress Elizabeth, he is often credited with a brief period known as the 'Golden Autumn' of the Hetmanate, during which he attempted to navigate the complexities of Ukrainian autonomy within the Russian Empire. His efforts ultimately failed, leading to the dissolution of the Hetmanate by Catherine II.
