Pavlo Skoropadsky
Pavlo Skoropadsky was a Ukrainian political leader and Hetman of the Ukrainian State in 1918. His government sought to establish Ukrainian independence from Russia following World War I but was short-lived, lasting only until the end of 1918 due to internal and external pressures, including opposition from Bolshevik forces.
