Lazzaro You Heung-sik
Lazzaro You Heung-sik, born on November 17, 1951, in Nonsan-gun, South Korea, is the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Clergy, a role he has held since 2021 after being created a cardinal the following year. A former professor and rector of the major seminary in Daejeon, You has been actively involved in peace efforts between North and South Korea and has dedicated his ministry to promoting reconciliation and dialogue.
