
Lev Gudkov
Lev Gudkov is a prominent Russian sociologist and the former head of the Levada Center, an independent polling organization recognized for its critical stance toward the Russian government. After taking over the center following the death of its founder Yuri Levada in 2006, Gudkov became known for his insightful analyses of public opinion and social trends in Russia. He has also been a professor at the Higher School of Economics since 2009. Recently, Gudkov was added to the Russian Ministry of Justice's list of foreign agents due to his opposition to the government's policies and military actions, particularly regarding Ukraine.
