Liu Yingcheng

Liu Yingcheng, also known as Shi Yongxin, was the abbot of the Shaolin Temple and a prominent figure in Chinese Buddhism. He gained notoriety for his efforts to commercialize the temple and expand its brand, establishing numerous businesses related to the Shaolin culture. However, he is currently under investigation for serious allegations, including embezzlement and maintaining improper relationships, leading to his expulsion from the monastic community and the termination of his official roles.
